Tarsh and Martijn are taking part in the 2024 MS Brissie to the Bay to join the fight against multiple sclerosis.

Together, we are raising funds to show our support. Your donation will make a huge impact to change the lives of people living with MS.

Did you know:

  • On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week

  • The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.

  • Three out of four Australians with MS are women

Your support will help fund essential services for almost 5,500 Queenslanders living with MS. These services include our NeuroAssist information line, specialist nursing services, wellness programs, and financial support. Your support will also power research into better treatments, and with your support, our hope is that one day there will be a cure for MS.

My Updates

First ride, Sunday March 17th

On Sunday, Martijn and I went for a ride after months not riding owing the Brissy humidity (we've only been living here for 3 yrs after arriving from life down South in Canberra). We started at the beautiful Orleigh Park, along the Brisbane riverside, so many people enjoying the outdoors. Rode through the University of QLD's stunning campus, and stopped for a bite to eat (and a much needed cold drink) at Yeronga. Turned around, got rained on for a short time, before arriving back where we started... hot, sweaty, and very satisfied that we'd completed 26kms. Hopefully, I will be able to keep up with Martijn, especially up those big hills in St Lucia! Perhaps adventure somewhere new next time... that's the incredible thing about bike riding, experiencing those places that you can't when driving a car!
