The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for three decades now. Not only is it loved by families for its fun and friendly atmosphere, the 100km distance provides a scenic route to the bay for the more experienced riders.
This ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike; our amazing riders raise money to help change the lives of the thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS). MS Queensland is the first choice for people living with MS and other chronic, progressive neurological diseases because of our experience, commitment, knowledge and services.
Every case of MS is unique. The symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone. We are committed to helping those living with MS, by providing programs and support to help improve their quality of life.
This year, on Sunday 14 June, thousands of riders will be slipping into lycra to take part in the annual ride to fight MS. Celebrating its 30th year, the ride has come a long way since its humble beginnings, when it attracted a modest 80 riders.
In 2020, we are aiming to raise $1.1 million for people living with MS. You can join in by riding one of our five exciting distances. There is the family friendly 10km around the Brisbane Riverside, the scenic 25km ride to Balmoral, the classic 50km to Wynnum, the challenging 100km course to Cleveland or our brand new 130km course!
The diverse range of courses means riders from all walks of life and skill level are able to hop on their bike and make a difference for people living with multiple sclerosis.
