Michael Harding

I am taking part in the 2024 MS Brissie to the Bay to join the fight against multiple sclerosis.

Together, we are raising funds to show our support. Your donation will make a huge impact to change the lives of people living with MS.

Did you know:

  • On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week

  • The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.

  • Three out of four Australians with MS are women

Your support will help fund essential services for almost 5,500 Queenslanders living with MS. These services include our NeuroAssist information line, specialist nursing services, wellness programs, and financial support. Your support will also power research into better treatments, and with your support, our hope is that one day there will be a cure for MS.

Please DONATE to support our ride to help ensure no one faces MS alone.

I am riding in the MS Brissie to the Bay on Sunday 9 June

Hi Everyone, I am emailing in bulk to a bunch of my close contacts,

I am riding in the MS Brissie to the Bay on Sunday 9 June. If you are on my Facebook or LinkedIn pages, you will see my training ride videos. I am also on YouTube and recently Strava. See the links below to my social media pages where you can check out my training rides.

I will be riding my Norco Indie Road bike, which I have updated somewhat to be a little bit faster. I got this from 99 Bikes in Capalaba last year and have found it to be a great bike and shop to deal with.

I've already clocked up 1070km on this bike since getting it. I am averaging almost 100km a week in exercise rides, which you can follow my posts on Strava https://www.strava.com/athletes/1907131

If you ride something similar and can maintain an average of 25km / h, get in touch to team up for 9 June.

MS affects more young adults than any other acquired chronic neurological disease, causing loss of muscle strength and coordination, debilitating fatigue, vision loss and more.

There is no cure.

My goal is to raise $250 to provide vital services to help Queenslanders living with multiple sclerosis, to ensure no one has to face MS alone.

I have already raised $158 and if that was you, thank you so much. I am still seeking to hit the $250 mark.

Did you know that as little as $50, can power a 60 minute MS Nursing telehealth session which provides life-changing support, education and advice for people with MS and their family and carers!

Please sponsor me now and make a donation to support my 50km ride.

Thank you for your generosity!
