20 years on, Brissie to the Bay was bigger and better than ever!
This year, on Sunday 26 June, Brisbane's biggest charity bike ride marked it's 20th birthday with the biggest ever number of riders and a fundraising goal of $500,000 to help people living with MS - a disease of the central nervous system.
The ride has definitely come along way since its humble beginnings in 1991, when it attracted a modest 80 riders.
More than 4,500 riders descended on Musgrave Park before dawn on Sunday to conquer one of our four exciting courses.
There was the family friendly 10km around the Brisbane Riverside, the scenic 25km ride to Balmoral, the challenging 50km to Wynnum and the all new 100km course to Wellington Point! The diverse range of courses meant riders from all walks of life and skill level were able to slip into lycra to show their support for people living with multiple sclerosis.
