We are taking part in the Ride to Fight MS
It is rewarding to be taking part in the 34th MS Brissie to the
Bay bike ride as one of our Twenty24 #ProjectMAD initiatives to
join the fight against multiple sclerosis (MS).
What started as a social ride amongst friends and colleagues fourteen years
ago for the personnel challenge and the opportunity to Make A Difference (MAD) is very
gratifying.
We are raising awarenessfunds to show our support and your donation will make an
impact to change the lives of Queenslanders living with MS.
Did you know:
- On average, more than 10
Australians are diagnosed with MS every week
- The average age of diagnosis
is just 30 years of age
- It strikes young people in
the prime of their lives (3 out of 4 Australians with MS are women)
Your dollars will provide essential services and support like
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling and symptom management, as
well as MS research to look for better treatments and ultimately a cure for the
disease to assist all those affected by MS to live life to their fullest and
reach their true potential.
